I purchased this book because I am a foster parent and wanted to read what a foster child experience in foster care was really like. I was at the National conference in May. Shawn was there signing the books I got one figured I was read it sometime. I decided to read it on the plane. This book is real life experiences. I was always at the end of my seat and I couldn't wait to get to the next page. I picked this book up and I had a hard time putting it down. I would say that everybody should read this book.
