I was concerned this book would be too juvenile for my grandsons, ages 8 & 6 yrs. It is not. Very engaging storyline.

I loved this book as a child. I remember my Grandfather reading it to me and I had to have it for my little ones. My son (4) and my daughter (2) I think enjoy the pictures and the cute simple story as much as I did. Don't bother odering the book on tape. The reading is very boring!
Great beginning reader's book

This is one of the few beginning reader books whose story line kept my, an adult's, attention. It has a story line that keeps you engaged and has enough word repetition that allows the young reader to correctly predict upcoming text in words. Great little story. I want access to more stories like this.
