"And His Name Will Be Called ..."

God has chosen to reveal Himself through His creation, through His Spirit-inspired written words, and ultimately in His Son. Recorded in Scripture are many names which God has attributed to Himself, each of which reveal aspects of His nature, character, and attributes. The focus of this message is the names that Isaiah used to describe His Son as the coming King.

The key to understanding these names is the historical context of the people he is speaking to. Basically, he was telling these people that this coming King was the only One who had solutions to the situations in which they found themselves. "And His Name Will Be Called ..." is a study of these names - each one a combination of an adjective and a noun - interpreting them in the context of these people, who are not unlike ourselves.
