The book is filled with anecdotes and supporting scriptures to promote bible-based thinking as we apply faith effectively for the problems we face in life. The book was inspired by a bible study series called 12 Anchors of Faith, presented by the author during pre-game chapel services for the Detroit Pistons of the National Basketball Association. The storms of life blow heavily at times for all of us. However, as we go through the storms, it is comforting to know that our faith is weighty enough to keep us safe and secure. This book points to 12 ways our faith serves as an anchor in hard times.
