Anastasia & Alexander: a Russian spy and a brilliant scientist

Alexander, a brilliant Russian scientist with an American mother, develops advanced weapons in the enigmatic closed city of Borisyuk. Years ago, his mother was murdered by Russian agents to prevent their escape to the United States, making it look like a robbery when Alexander was a teenager.

Upon discovering the truth, Alexander escapes to the United States with the help of the CIA and Anastasia, the Russian agent responsible for his security. Lieutenant Anastasia Borisyuk, a former member of special forces in Syria and the great-granddaughter of the city's creator, is now a member of the Russian security service.

Russian and Chinese agents attempt to assassinate Alexander to prevent him from sharing his knowledge with the Americans. Marco, an equally brilliant scientist and member of national security, foils one of the assassination attempts on his life.

The Russians and Americans reach an agreement not to harm Alexander, and he is eventually protected by Chinese agents who are interested in learning about his new energy source, thus saving his life.

Anastasia prevents his murder by a former member of the Russian foreign intelligence service seeking revenge for his demotion when Alexander escaped. Anastasia is now the commander of the Russian spy team in the United States and is determined to capture the agent and return him to Russia for conspiring against her director and disobeying orders.

Russia and the USA face threats from unstoppable hypersonic cruise missiles launched by terrorists assisted by the former Russian agent. They need Alexander's knowledge to arm the missiles with VX gas. He offers himself as bait for the CIA and the Russian FSB to apprehend them.

Much unfolds in what follows...
