due to dramatic changes in loads. The demand for electric power is varied

both randomly and with predictable variations due to the functioning of industrial

society. It is a very big challenge for an electrical engineer to operate the

power system in a controlled manner. With advanced semiconductor

technology, FACTS devices are used for controlling the real power flow in a

transmission line in a rapid manner through power circulation within the

converter. Many power plants are operating most efficiently near their

maximum power output. An energy storage system is implemented to

maintain reliable operation and also without power circulation.
