Analysis of pathological manifestations in a reinforced concrete walkway

The civil construction sector is one of the country's most important economic foundations. It has undergone major developments in the technology of construction materials and in design and execution techniques, but so many innovations are contributing to the emergence of pathological manifestations in structures, which is why it is necessary to understand what pathology is. This study analyzed a reinforced concrete footbridge in order to identify the possible causes of the anomalies. The walkway analyzed is located on Avenida Desembargador Jo o Machado, in the center-south region of Manaus, where the visual inspection method was used to identify the pathological manifestations.
