This study examined the organizational design and effectiveness of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) resulting from the operational reforms embarked upon by the agency in 2000. Organizational Design is the process by which managers make specific organizing choices that result in a particular kind of organizational structure (Jones and George, 2006). It is a formal guided process for integrating the people, information and technology in an organization. Through design process, the organization is intending to improve the collective efforts of members (workers) to achieve success or effectiveness.
