This book hopes to explicitly reveal the extent of adoption of good agronomic practices by rice farmers as preached by the Anambra State IFAD assisted Value Chain Development Programme and it's implications to the national food security and economies of the farmers. The findings from the survey show that good agronomic practice is in its trial stage of adoption as the five stages (awareness, interest, evaluation, trial, and adoption stage) were considered. interestingly, the extent of adoption produced mean rice productivity of 4.24tons/ha in the study area.
