Analysis, Development and Usability Tests of a System

This book presents the analysis, development and usability tests application of a Database Information System named SIPPC - Sistema de Informa??o do Processo Produtivo da Carimbu (Carimbu Productive Process Information System), which was produced during the course completion work for a planting and commercialization association of umbus and its derived products. The purpose of this work is the study in the area of Information Management and Database and the construction of the Information System. For this, the analysis of the new system was performed according to the UML - Unified Modeling Language in order to contain the association's productive process and to obtain a vision of how the SIPPC Information System should work. The system was developed through the creation of the database tables, screens, queries and management reports. Finally, there were Usability Tests in the system and, afterwards, all the results were analyzed and commented. The SIPPC was considered efficient and effective, being able to encompass all the association's production data and allows the information management for the association's decision making.
