Adventure, Faith, & Sweet Romance

This is book three in the Adventurous Hearts series but each read as a stand-alone. They each have a strong female that steps outside of the box and seek adventure that their heart craves but is considered not appropriate for that time period. I did have a problem connecting with Leonora at first but later it was much better. I admire that she was seeking answers to her father’s death and that she had the wherewithal to start her own club when woman were forbidden to join the explorers club. Marcus and her both carry baggage and need to learn to trust each other and God to see them through the most difficult situations. Keeping secrets is not easy and when you find the courage to let go and be honest there is so much freedom to be found and healing that takes place. This story contains daring adventure, swindling, secrets, sweet romance, and finding security in a deeper faith. A very enjoyable read that draws you in from the cover. Well done.
