An Odyssey Towards Oblivion, A Collection of Poetry

By Sheryll Putnam

An Odyssey Towards Oblivion is a raw, lyrical voyage through the unmaking and remaking of a woman who finally chooses herself.

These poems trace the slow shedding of old names, old wounds, and old versions of love that once demanded her silence. They walk through grief, awakening, memory, and defiance - mapping the moment when survival turns into sovereignty. What begins as a quiet reckoning becomes a declaration: of boundaries reclaimed, of truth spoken, of a self no longer willing to disappear for the comfort of others.

This collection is not about forgetting - it is about release. It is about the courage it takes to step away from the ghosts of who you were and claim the fire of who you are becoming.

An Odyssey Towards Oblivion is a testament to transformation - a poetic pilgrimage into freedom, self-definition, and the power of finally letting go.
