An excellent introduction to real analysis

I truly began my mathematics education with this book. Although many more esoteric topics are left out of the text, the basic core provides a most solid foundation in the theory of one real variable, and the exercises are flexible, allowing a great deal of additional theory to be digested at the reader's (or instructor's) discretion. Proofs are well-written, and the text itself is well organized. This book makes an excellent addition to any undergraduates mathematical library, and I hope to teach from this text when I myself am a professor.

Awesome real analysis book - a gem.

I checked out a lot of the rest of the genre and this one is miles ahead of the pack - well motivated, accessible, yet not watered down.
