Although their positions and arguments differ in several respects, feminists have asserted that science, knowledge, and rationality cannot be severed from their social, political, and cultural aspects.
This book is exceptional. It is clearly and rigorously written, providing both an overview of the field and an original stance on the central issues. It will be of particular interest to analytic philosophers wishing to know more about feminist epistemology.

This is an excellent overview, with one important exception of the chapter on naturalized epistemology. It will be very useful to novices and for instruction. For correction of the view on naturalism, I suggest articles by Lynn Hankinson Nelson or Louise Antony, or Lorraine Code's article in APQ.
Great overview of feminist theory/epistemology

Ignore the other reivew -- this is a good book. Tenesini is comprehensive, providing an overview of numerous feminist theories. Her book is an introduction to feminist epistemology -- with the assumption that the reader knows little to nothing about the topic. She accomplishes this goal.
