Living in the desert these critters already have a hard life because of the desert heat, not much water, and a hard time finding food. Added to the heat, and lack of water and food, now human beings have moved into the natural desert habitats of these animals and insects through recreational activities, and building new houses. Sadly, this has taken away even more of their desert home.
