Personal, frank, open discussion of an approach to living chastity (because it is not a condition, it is a grace that has to be lived). Well written, nothing shocking; the lessons one may find in the reading are not meant only to those who live in religious communities. On the contrary, anyone wanting a deeper understanding of how one relates to their self and how one relates to others and to God, can certainly learn from this book. Clark's "Being Sexual ...and Celibate" follows and builds on this book.
