This story is written for Ghost, an American Eskimo dog, and his family. It is based on a true story. One Christmas, Ghost brought in his own Christmas tree after his family trimmed and decorated theirs. They helped decorate his tree. Ghost had never shown an interest in branches before and to my knowledge has not shown an interest since. It is good to be a dog. Dogs are privy to a world we only catch a glimpse of. They can see, hear, smell, and sense what we cannot. One of our American Eskimos, Spirit, seemed ironically to sense ghosts.
