In 'The Hyenas' Kingdom, ' the Hyenas' King kept in forests a large number of hyenas which he deployed as the fighting warriors in wars against rival kings. They attacked and killed the cows of other kingdoms and brought the skin back home. The Ant-Hyenas' King whose Kingdom was rich of cows, vowed to erase all hyenas of the rival kingdom, so that his cows would remain safe and thriving.

In 'The Strange Midnight, ' Mr. Uchendu who lived in Loneth street in Lagos-Nigeria faced difficulties to rescue his child from the falling house after the devastating rain and thunderstorm hit the house rigorously. Still, he persisted to win the calamity despite the hope of life was fading in the midnight darkness.

In 'A Letter from the Battlefield, ' Ebitoke's mother wanted to disclose a tax avoidance company to the revenue authorities. Tibaijuka Fishing Company planned by all means to assassinate her before he could reveal the truth; its security men murdered her on the lake, yet two eyes of the secret witness perceived their criminal act.It was that time when Kagera war occurred, Tanzania recruited more soldiers to counter fight Idd Amini Dada's armies. Mr. Rutashobya being the only person who witnessed the death of that woman, had joined the army and went to fight enemies of his nation. Did he return home safe so as to reveal who murdered Ebitoke's mother?
