Everyone needs encouragement at times. Keeping it real, stop complaining about what others are not doing, look within yourself and realize that sometimes you have to encourage yourself to get through the day. There are two things we must do (1) get real and (2) grow up. It's good to receive encouragement from others; however, sometimes you can receive too much encouragement and it may not necessarily be given by the right person or in the right way. The Bible promises us that the Holy Spirit will guide us. Jesus does not promise us that the Holy Spirit will control us, or force us to do anything. At no point do we lose our ability to choose whose encouragement we will follow. When needing encouragement, I charge you not to give up hope, or become discouraged and lie in this spirit of defeat or despair. God has a plan for your life before you even think about what you want to do with your life. Try God and tune in to the real encourager within you, the Holy Spirit.
