Light begins to shine on the glass bottles, now broken in half and jagged. The broken light creates rainbows that glimmer across the water's surface. With the tide being high, the waves lap up against the fence and drum a cadence like a bongo. I begin to awaken. Breath takes form in my nostrils and lungs, and I inhale for the first time in 10 years. Bodies untouched or forgotten.
