The effect of paper mill sludge application on soil chemical properties is directly associated with the biological properties, vital for the nutrient turnover and long-term productivity. Hence, the present study was undertaken to examine the effect of paper mill sludge as an amendment in alkali soil and its influence on the growth and yield of green gram.
