An artist's perspective of posthumanism and AI

What can artists do to shape the future of the world when artificial intelligence is threatening to overtake humanity and bring an end to the Anthropocene, the period in which humanity has had a detrimental ecological impact on the planet? During the recent coronavirus pandemic a digital integration has been occurring, as we have lived hermetic existences that were heavily dependent on technology to interact with the world around us.
