An American Poet Flies the Coop

All things must end, and so I now I will fly the coop. I've had great fun writing and publishing these little poetry books, and I hope a few people have found something worthwhile in a poem or two. I've also enjoyed the contribution of my children and grandchildren. I especially am delighted with the beautiful art work of my granddaughter, Grace Marie, who did this memorial to A.A. Milne's "Winnie the Pooh." Pooh was always looking for wisdom and afterwards he would say to himself, "Think, think, think," and then he would seek his wise friend "Owl", who would help him find his answers. God is our answer, and the only source of wisdom. We must seek Him for wisdom. It is more priceless than gold. It's been a great flight - farewell.
