Dawn Jones (née Dawn Billingham) was born in London during World War II. After finishing her schooling, she went to work for NATO in Paris, where she met her husband, a captain in the army. She emigrated to the United States, where she lived briefly before embarking on an exciting life with her family in various countries -- including Kenya, Jamaica, and Mauritania -- over the course of two decades. Upon returning to the United States, she became a successful realtor and even hosted her own local TV program, Business Beat . Since her retirement, Dawn has written this short novel, Amusing Stories from a Post-War London Child .
