A great book

fabulous collection of short stories by Wanda Brunstetter, and her daughter in law and granddaughter. All of the the stories are well written and tge characters are realistic. My only complaint is that I wish some of the stories were longer. I was given a complementary copy of this book by the publisher and is not required to write a positive review.

Stories Of Inspiration And Life Lessons

Wanda Brunstetter once again has collaborated with her daughter-in-law, Jean and her grand daughter, Richelle to bring us 18 inspirational stories in their new book Amish Front Porch Stories. These wonderfully written stories are based on the Fruits of The Spirit, as found in the Book of Galatians. They are stories of wisdom and the lessons that we learn in life. The stories consist of a cranky neighbor, a young mother overwhelmed by caring for her family, a young girl and a dog and a prideful woman and her prized quilt. At the end of each story, there is a Bible verse that is appropriate to that particular story. You are sure to find one story that may fit your or someone else's life. So grab your rocking chair, be it on the front porch, or in the house by a fireplace and settle down to read this great book. I was provided with a complimentary copy of Amish Front Porch Stories by Wanda Brunstetter and Barbour Publishing and this is my honest opinion of this book

Fun and captivating short stories

Amish Front Porch Stories is a collection of charming stories written by three generations of Brunstetters, Wanda, her daughter-in-law, Jean, and Wanda's granddaughter, Richelle. These 18 short stories are centered around the Fruit of the Spirit mentioned in Galatians in the Bible. There are 2 stories for each of the characteristics, including meekness, joy, faith, and peace and five others. Readers meet characters who are struggling with pride, depression, anger, challenges for a care-giver, cranky neighbors, and pesky animals such as lost dogs, escape artist horses and mischievous goats. Each of the stories has relatable and realistic situations that resonate well with the reader. Amish Front Porch Stories is a book that readers who love quick reads, Amish stories and Christian fiction will not want to miss. I received a complimentary copy of the book from Barbour Publishing and was under no obligation to post a review. The opinions are my own.
