Amid the Fallen

The Second Civil War has erupted in America from the use of Bitcoin, splitting the country into the North and the South once again. In the midst of the war, a disease broke out and wiped out everyone over the age of nineteen, leaving the kids manipulated by propaganda to fight in an ongoing conflict. Nine years after the war started, life has settled down in the form of the post-war kingdom known as Babylon, New York. The kingdom sits in the outskirts of Buffalo, New York and contains 3,000 northern survivors. The kingdom is made up of three territories (The Castle, Shangri-La, and a gun factory) and a mine that serves as their only source for metals and materials for iron armor, guns, and ammunition. The kingdom is ruled by a king, Forrest Wayley, and a queen, Echo Ramirez, who will do everything it takes to protect their home. When an old foe emerges from their surroundings, countless internal and external threats plague the kingdom which forces them to leave their territory and travel through the ruins of the United States. The entire series is a prequel to dystopian novels (like 1984 or Fahrenheit 451) and answers the question, "How is such a society created in the first place?"
