I wanted to create a sequel to James Madison's Bill of Rights because the current political environment deemed it was necessary. My inspiration happened when I read some books, and I became aware of issues that didn't jive with what was obviously the common good. So, I took the framework of the first Bill of Rights and began researching what should be the next 10 Amendments based on how they address a plethora of today's political and social issues. As I've spent the last few years contemplating issues that should clearly be Rights, it's been incredibly disheartening to notice I'm probably the only person in America thinking about the America's next 10 Constitutional Amendments. There's a mainstream media and a bunch of politicians, who are too busy playing political football, when they should be focused on your Rights and Freedoms. But that can change.
