The text offers an elegant and readable introduction to the fundamentals of music. Good book!

Exactly what I needed for my music class. Good book, light read. Clear and concise.

Great Book!

I used this book in College as a music ed. student in a course called "History of American Popular Music". I am now a high school teacher and want to use the book for a high school general music class. I KNOW it will be just the thing!
