Hi, my name is Tim Lally. I'm a product of Chicago's working class who took out a butt-ton of student loans to get a college degree only to realize post-graduation that the 9 to 5 working world was a living nightmare that I didn't wanna touch with a thirty-nine-and-a-half foot pole. So, instead of taking the cut and dried path of steady employment, I've chosen to get in touch with this ball of confusion on which we live by doing a little traveling before the responsibilities of what's known as "the real world" have the chance to kidnap, kill, then hide my inner-child somewhere I'll never find it again.America's Finest Ambassador is the story of a month-long trip to Southeast Asia I went on back in 2011 to visit a college buddy who'd taken a job down in Singapore. I use that time-frame (as if it wasn't filled with enough noteworthy tales on its own) as an outlet in which to plug anecdotes of previous life experiences including but not limited to encounters with neighborhood weirdos, childhood misadventure and drunken debauchery as relatable to life on the road - all of which are presented as well-written, well-organized and well-thought-out pieces of literature told from the unique and sometimes neurotic perspective of yours truly.
