White's Written THE Bio of US Grant

I've read White's biography of Ulysses S. Grant and well as Grant's 2-volume Notes and White nails the more subtle aspects of US Grant as well as providing deeper insights into the better known events of Grant's experiences. This is a read well worth the effort and one that I believe will impact the reader far into the future.
