In this revised edition of his Religion in the New World, Wentz extends his account of the shaping of America's diverse religious traditions. Wentz sketches the development and flowering of all the traditions--Native American, Reformed, Puritan, Roman Catholic, Restorationist--that proved decisive for American religion.
I needed this book for a sociology class in college. I find it pretty interesting even though I am not religious myself. A good read and a good book for anyone majoring in sociology or if you're just interested in different religions and how they affect society.
