A Well-Written Book

'American Monsters: A History of Monster Lore, Legends, and Sightings in America' by Linda Godfrey is an educational and entertaining book about cryptid folklore in America. Godfrey does her homework and gives a historical text about each, providing alternate explanations for each side. It does well with its ambiguity, and is suitable for every level. I recommend giving it a read.
