Do not the American people desire a king to rule over them? Do not the American people desire someone to save them from all the evils of the world?

The United States is racked by deep political divisions that threaten to tear the nation apart. Left versus right, political party versus political, ethnic group versus ethnic group, and working class versus upper class. The Roman Republic face similar challenges during its twilight years prior to its reorganization into the Roman Empire under August Caesar. I seek to be the American Augustus.

American Imperium is a novel advocating for a third path for the nation should we as citizens fail to overcome our embitter internal divisions. Both a political treatise and cultural criticism, American Imperium tackles different issues plaguing the U.S. from the political, to the economic, to social. And doing so from an out of the box perspective. I lay out my vision to not only secure America's future but secure its place in history. I also reawaken Americans to the realities of our fallen world which we've blinded ourself to due to our bubble of overwhelming excess.

Even if a reader don't come away as a neo-monarchist at least they'll a different perspective and a different way of thinking about the world. One which will make one a better citizen and a better neighbor.
