A Biting Satirical Political Fantasy

I found this, enjoyably, one of the harshest critiques of the current administration, accomplished by taking the socio-political culture and zeitgeists of 2006 and tranporting these to a fuure time; a kind of political, "back to the future" analysis of current morals, ethics and political practice. It is funny, fast-paced, and great reading for one's leisure time or on a transatlantic flight. Lentz shows more maturity in this writing, but it is perhaps a darker atmosphere in this weltschung than in his earlier novels. This book makes one think hard, and engenders real frustations and feelings of futility, but still evokes a good, perhaps sardonic, laugh.
