I love this book

I am not getting the correct amount of sleep the last few nights because I have been up reading this book. This is my first book by this author and I am praying the rest of her books are as great.

Amelia was afraid. Her father's violent outbursts were getting worse, and only when she quelled her own headstrong, independent ways was there any peace - especially since her father was determined that she marry into the powerful Culhane family. Though smooth, polished, mild-mannered Alan was taken with Amelia's fragile beauty and ways, Amelia was haunted by King Culhane - whose silver eyes could say more with a look than his brother could say with a dictionary. But his temper, like his courage, was legendary in east Texas. Men like King were dangerous. King wanted her, and he took pains to make sure she knew it - though he regarded her as a piece of fluff who hoped to steal his brother's heart and bank account. But the woman in Amelia couldn't deny the raging need that could only be assuaged by King's savage embrace... This book was incredible! I couldn't put it down- King and Amelia are some of my favorite characters developed by Diana Palmer. I was having second thoughts about buying the book because of the negative reviews I read, but I'm glad I decided to give it a try because I was BLOWN AWAY! I'm a HUGE Diana Palmer fan- she is by far my favorite author, and I can't get enough of her books. This one didn't disappoint me- I can't recommend this book enough! :)

This is 1 of my fav. historicals of diana palmers. It's heartrendering. I cried and smiled through this whole book.

This book was one I just couldn't put down.

I thought it was wonderful book. It is one of my favorites by Diana Palmer. I have read it more than once. The characters were wonderful.
