Overly focused on "Promoting diversity, equity and inclusion"

I have read both 1st and 2nd addition, and both where excellent at explaining the complex traits of a successful outdoor leader. This 3rd addition is distractedly focused on "Promoting diversity, equity and inclusion." Entire new sections are added for this focus with no value added to learning the critical skills and concepts a outdoors leader needs to know.
I was hoping the new edition was going to add updated case studies and modern techniques.
