The authors daily walks with her dog in the woods or at the beach inspired this book of poems and reflections. The joy being out walking within nature increased both physical health as well as mental wellbeing. As a retired associate professor of public health, and after many years in another Nordic country, she now enjoys the Danish nature and the experience of walking with her dachshund dog, Mr. Carl. She wishes to inspire others to do the same and says to the reader: Please go blend with nature and feel its healing energy. We are all part of nature. Many old cultures know that.
