'Always Look Up' is a children's picture book intended to promote emotional intelligence and self-regulation by strengthening a child's emotional vocabulary, as well as calming their mind and body through deep breathing and exposure to nature. My hope is to inspire children (and adults) to spend more time in nature, appreciating the beauty and healing it can provide. The book can be used with children of a variety of ages, as it can be used in various ways to expand on conversations and experiences - it all depends on how you choose to use the book. There are additional breathing techniques / calming activities at the end of the book.
