Accurate but Dry

I haven't finished this one yet, but so far the material seems informative but presented in the most boring format possible. I get it, it's a textbook, but I do think it could have been written better. A sense of humor would have been helpful, but even a few more breaks in the chapters would have gone a long way towards a decent presentation. All the same, the material is solid and I'd buy it again in the absence of a better one.
