Too often are women excluded from places they deserve to be a part of. Their ideas are dismissed. And if they find themselves in a place at the table, they are tokenized and not truly utilized to their full potential. I'm here to help women find freedom from this suppression and to discover their true power.
Also Your Daughters was born out of a deep dive to make the Bible make sense in terms of women. Biblical texts tend to be used in support of both freedom and the uplifting of women and also for the detriment and confinement. In the search for full freedom, I found it on the outskirts of the pages of the Bible and all the way to the depths of my soul.
I am free because I say I am free.
Also Your Daughters is a passion project created by me, Becki Beasley, a millennial wife, mother, ex-pastor, friend, writer, photographer, woman, who is trying to make sense of the world around me which includes church hurt, faith deconstruction and theology, motherhood and marriage, feminism and overall life survival and how to get into life thriving. I want to offer hope to people who think they're alone.
Also Your Daughters is meant to make you think. Why not "Also Your Sons"? Because men are already inherently included. Society already accepts them. The mission here is to help women find their own acceptance of themselves and to embrace their own power.
I am an unapologetic feminist who is spreading the message of freedom from male headship the churches in America spread. I want you to know that you are so capable. You are so strong. You can get out from the weight the church so wrongfully puts on you to serve in the background and bury who you are. That's my background that I clawed my way out of and I want to help you do the same.
