Alpine Recovery concerns the ultimate disposition of Nazi gold bullion from Adolph Hitler's ascendancy to the absolute control of Germany in 1933, to the annexation of Austria in 1938 and the invasion of Poland on September 1, 1938, which started WW II. It is about the accomplishments of an employee of a small Swiss bank who legally controls massive, illegal Nazi funds during the war without any personal contact until May 6, 1945 and the subsequent Nuremberg Trials. He marries a Diva in 1946 and because of a perception of wealth she betrays him in an exciting plot which results in a dysfunctional relationship.
