Makes you wish werewolves were real!

this is one extraordinary book! i read leahs oklahoma series and decided i wuld give this a try 2.. its one of the best ive ever read! i wish i had my own little alpha lovers, lol.

Alpha's Mate

Lars, Damien, Seth, and Wes Tougarret are all half brothers sharing the same father. They are also the Alpha of their respective were packs. All of the men made a visit to their grandmother together, and it took everything in them to keep from killing each other. They tried very hard to present a united front to their ailing elderly grandmother that they all adored, but it was difficult at best. As it got closer to Eleanor's birthday party, she tried once again to talk to her grandson's about uniting their packs. Her pleas fell on deaf ears until her surprise birthday guest arrived. Lacey Roberts arrived to spend time with her godmother, but was confronted with four dark dangerous sexy men claiming she was their mate. Lacey was just visiting Eleanor for a few days, but these arrogant men told her she was never going to leave. She felt a sizzling attraction to each one of them, and while that fact frightened her, the men's dominant attitudes infuriated her. The ironic twist of fate that handed Lars, Damien, Seth, and Wes the same mate had them stupefied. They realized immediately that they were going to have to drastically change their lives to revolve around the woman that would be a mate to them all. They knew they were going to have to reign themselves in until Lacey got to know them and the ways of their pack, or she would be frightened and run. The brothers found themselves in new territory of getting to know each other better, and for once trying to act, as brothers should. They had no choice because no one was willing to give her up. When Lacey found out the story behind her mates, she was shocked. She had been told stories of werewolves her entire life, but until she saw it for herself, she had believed it to be a fairytale. She was attracted to her godmother's grandsons, but she couldn't stay. She had to stay on the run because she had two people counting on her to help keep them safe. Lacey would not let them down. The night of her godmother's birthday was lovely until a woman on the caterer's staff was found murdered just outside of the home. The Tougarret men were horrified to discover the woman had very similar physical characteristics to Lacey, and they knew they would be racing the clock to find the one trying to take their mate. This was a good story with interesting dynamics between Lacey and the Tougarret brothers. She was a lot stronger than I anticipated she would be. She had to be to go up against these four very dominant men. Scorching chemistry interwoven in an intriguing story make this a recommended read.

Lacey decides that visiting her godmother will solve two different issues; it will get her out of town, where things are a bit explosive (due to her helping a woman escape an abusive spouse), and will let her see one of her favorite people in the world. What she doesn't expect is to have an instant attraction to all four of her godmothers' grandsons. But her shocks are far from over. Apparently all four of the men (Lars, Damien, Wes and Seth) are laying claim to her as their mate, and they aren't just human. Lacey is about to find out what it is like to be pursued as a mate of an alpha werewolf. Just as Lacey is trying to figure out how to deal with all of this not only does her past catch up with her but apparently someone either in her mates' packs or in a rival pack wants her dead. Will the men be able to live with sharing a mate? Will Lacey be able to accept all four men? And can they keep her alive? As usual Leah Brooke has written a super erotic and interesting story in Alpha's Mate. I found Lacey to be a fun and interesting woman who knows what she wants and who she wants to protect in life, that is until her world is turned upside down. Ms. Brooke does a find job in setting the plot line as well as intertwining the lives of her characters together. I loved the grandmother and her interactions with all of the men and Lacey. While Alphas' Mate has super smoking hot love scenes it also has a nicely developed storyline and will be enjoyed by all who are interested in this genre. Tanya Reviewed for Joyfully Reviewed

This was an excellent story. Kept my attention from start to finish. I read the whole book in three hours. I couldn't put it down. You can't go wrong with Leah Brooke.
