Who is Helen Cannon? This book was written by one author (me) and published under the pseudonym "Cheryl Durant," which I'd previously used for a novel titled "Bittersweet in Bern" and which Avon apparently decided would work better on the cover than my real name. The name "Helen Cannon" doesn't appear on the book or in the book, and as the book's sole author, I can't help being curious who Helen Cannon might be and why her name keeps turning up in Internet listings of this novel. (Maybe she's a kind of literary Kilroy whose name turns up on other authors' books, as in "Kilroy was here"?)
