Allergy Alley is a collection of humorous poems about the ups and downs of life with allergies. While it was created for 6-12 year olds, teens and adults enjoy it too. There are 14 poems in the collection covering a range of allergens from nuts to milk, eggs, dogs, cats and everything in between. Each poem has been beautifully illustrated with whimsical and charming watercolours. The cheeky, silly and unexpected poems are based on children's genuine experiences with allergies. While the tone is light the subtext is clear - allergies can be challenging but there is always a bright side and humour to be found if we look for it. Allergy Alley was written by children's TV writer, Cathy Moss. She is the creator of preschool series Doggy Dayschool, Count on Me and co-creator of Franny's Feet. She has written for a long list of TV series including Toopie and Binoo, Gumboot Kids, Franklin, The Cat in the Hat Knows a Lot About That and Momolu.
