All Ye Bully Rooks: A Medieval Murder Mystery

Northern England, 1361. Robert of Farington is land manager for Jack Neville, brother of Ralph, the Warden of the North. After a maid is pursued and murdered by an unknown assailant, Robert is tasked to investigate and bring the killer to judgement.

However, the road to justice is crooked and narrow, and Robert finds himself upsetting people in high places as he doggedly investigates the murderer. Aided by his cousin Matthew, a monk from nearby Finch Hall Priory, Robert finds evidence of further killings, and even as his investigation begins to bear fruit, he is brought into direct conflict with his old friend Jack Neville.

All Ye Bully Rooks is a Medieval murder mystery set during a time of war, plague and the ever-present threat of famine, but a time also when the murder of a young girl is seen as a moral stain that must be investigated, and the killer brought to book.
