Beamer stared off into the distance. He took one last puff from his cigarette, stubbed it out in the cigarette dispenser and looked up at Maddox; his eyes intense. He studied Maddox's face for a second, then gave him the once over from head to toe.He was dressed in expensive clothes; his shiny, gold necklace, bracelet and watch pricey; his shoes cost no less than $900. A showy, boastful kind of guy! Beamer decided that Maddox was no competition for him. His body odor, although faint, was strong enough to scare an elephant away. "I see you're wearing a wedding band. Does your wife know that you're in love with Noble?"Maddox was caught off guard by Beamer's comment. He stammered, "What . . . you are a foolish dark, ignorant man! Get the hell out of my face!""You stepped to me! You put me in your face! You didn't think I would figure it out? Who really is the ignorant one here? Perhaps you need to stay away from Noble! Sooner than later, the people around you are going to figure out what you're up to! I feel sorry for your wife!"
