In the wild territory surrounding banana plantations in the southwestern rain forests of Costa Rica lurk five-foot long iguanas, huge Coto alligators, jaguars, snakes that can swallow a small child... This description may be from another edition of this product.
This book should be made into a movie. There is so much to see, hear, feel. It covers several generations but centers on the heroine's rescue of her children. And that rescue also makes her see that she deserves more in life than the brutality that she had experienced for so long. Seeing another culture through her eyes makes you wonder how you would have handled the experience. I highly recommend the book and would love to see some of the short "scenes" expanded in a movie version. Dynamite action! Very visual. What young Hollywood actress wouldn't want the main role of the plucky heroine?! This is Oscar worthy!

The wild animals, the lush tropical foliage and a wife's terrified desperation all come to life within the pages of this book. The colors are painted so vividly you can smell the earth the killer snakes crawl through. This author illustrates the brutality of a marriage that never should have been. By the end of the book, you're cheering for the blond heroine as she rescues her beloved children from the monster who had made her life a living hell. Bravo for Mary Suzanne Lopez!
Heart Pounding Adventure Thriller and True Story - WOW!

Having published more than 1,000 books and growing at a rate of 20 to 30 new books per month, I am rarely able to read an author's book in its entirety. However, I couldn't put All the Way Home down. From the first page, my imagination was captured by Mary Sue's story and the exceptional gift she possesses of painting pictures on the canvas of one's mind. This book made me laugh, brought me to tears, made my heart pound with fear and anxiety as I traveled along with her on her journey that eventually brought her, her children, and myself, All the Way Home.

WOW! This was an Excellent Read! I loved every bit of this book. The jungle comes alive as the author describes her new life in Costa Rica. I couldn't believe the twists and turns this well written piece had to offer. Absolutely the best book I've read in years! There is something for EVERYONE in this book. Even my husband, who never reads novels, has found it to be a real page-turner. Hope he's done soon, I can't wait to read it again... it's that good. This would make an excellent movie!
