Perhaps it is my misfortune that my chief source of inspiration should have anything to do with politics: My reaction to the absurdity of the historical record pertaining to the central event of our time can be found upon the pages of this laconic little book. What can also be found is my intent to clarify a few relevant points while further narrowing the focus and thrust of my previous book, Haiku Composed in Awe: . Robert McGee Jr. was born and raised in the little town of Clarksdale in the heart of the Mississippi Delta. He eventually settled in Mobile, Alabama where he has worked in factories for the past thirty years. His other collections of poems are Voices from the Juvenile (2013) and Haiku Composed in Awe: (2014).
