Ms. Williams did a good job on telling the story of a young woman,Mika, who wants it all...right now. Mika,a beautiful young single mother that has a lifetime ahead of her but no patience to see what life has to offer her. The mistakes and consequences Mika endured were brought on by her not taking time to find her purpose in life. The choices she made were not the best for her or her son.Never taking time to do an inventory of herself made her life a roller coaster ride. The spiritual messages Ms.Williams incorporated in the story may touch someone out there living life as Mika did and slow them down. Editing errors occur when you write and publish your own product...hell it happens when you write and a major company publishes it...I'm saying the errors didn't take from the story. I recommend All That Glitters to young women (old ones too)that are out there looking to be taken care of. 3.85* rating.

Wow!

Ok, I met this Author back in like 2005 and she self published it the 1st time around. Then I was looking for the second part "Shining Star" and saw this book. I truly can say that I really enjoy this better then the 1st one. She dealt with alot of issues in this book. The saying "All That Glitters Ain't Gold" is so true for Mika and her Cuzin Asia. Following Mika was like looking at alot of young females out here today. She sent a great message. Young Females needs to read this book because it's great insight. Looking forward to this Authors next novel. I just ordered "Shining Star" the sequel can't wait to crack it open. It has good reviews so...........We will see.

All That Glitters

I thought that the book was good. Mika was the type girl that went after what she wanted. Mika was a women that did what she did and didn't care what people thought about her. Aids was brought up in the book and I think that was a good thing to do. This is so that people could be more aware of the dangers of it. The book is a twister though and I can't wait to read the second part "Shining Star".

The Book Was GOOD!

This Book is Good! It shows you that all that glitter's is not gold! I Think you need to go pick up a copy for yourself!

you live and you learn

This book is the real to real. I learned so much from reading this book. It's good to take your time in life instead of rushing through because you will hit a brick wall every time. I really could relate to this story because we are sometimes drawn in by material things and not paying attention to the warning signs. I will love myself and make sure that what i have will glitter because it will be real gold, not a facade.
