The Right Stuff

The White Cover version of this book contains some very helpful recipes -- the best kidney bean salad, the best Pennsylvania Dutch (creamy) cole slaw, the best spaghetti sauce -- and many many helpful shortcut and cost cutting suggestions and recipes. The recipes span all types of foods. My results have always been excellent. The blue covered books contain less recipes and may be missing pages.

Nice cookbook

I bought this book to replace one of the same I have had for probably 20 years, which was falling apart! I love the Quickie Mix (I use 1/2 as much shortening or 2/3 as much oil and it still works fine). Many good recipes in here and economical! She gives a lot of directions and extra information, but not too much. I'm really glad I found this older cookbook again.
